Mounting Operator
Are you looking for a new opportunity to start the New Year? Our New Berlin based client is seeking Print Professionals on multiple shifts to fill their Mounting Operator positions.   • Reports to Die Cutting Supervisor any concerns to ensure workflow issues are addressed and optimized.
  • Communicates to Die Cutting Supervisor when information received is incomplete or could be communicated more clearly
  • Inventory management
  • Inspect products for quality
  • Setup, run, and maintain Lamina Mounter or similar equipment to meet or beat the times estimated in each specific job ticket without compromising quality
  • Verifies loads for all products going to/from machinery and ensures they are filled out completely and accurately based on the ticket information
  • Feed, catch, inspect and pack product/material produced off manufacturing equipment (cutter, folder, stitcher, trimmer, shrink wrapper)
  • Operate small hand-finishing equipment such as paper drills, taping equipment, shrink wrapper
  • Scrap product from die cut sheets for additional finishing, shrink wrapping and packing
  • Transport product/material using power hand trucks and manual hand trucks
  • 1st Shift: 6am-2pm (Monday – Friday)
  • 2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm (Monday – Friday)
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm-6am (Sunday – Thursday)
  • Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 / hour depending on experience
    • $0.75 increase /hour on 3rd shift
Responsible for the set-up and operation of assigned devices in the Bindery Department in conformity with the policies and procedures in place.  Will perform duties as assigned and directed by the Die Cutting Supervisor.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Knowledge of applicable machinery maintenance procedures
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Ability to use small hand tools
  • Ability to lift between 20 - 40 Lbs. frequently
  • Ability to communicate/understand written and oral instructions
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and organizational abilities
