Looking to enhance your assembly and overall manufacturing skillset? Our Brookfield client is looking for assemblers to start ASAP! In this role, you will assemble and wire components into sub-assemblies or final control valve assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the company’s quality system
  • Assembling and testing products, handling products, equipment and materials per the Production Department and company’s quality system procedures
  • Working alongside the team members when striving for the daily production goals
  • Able to receive and provide basic training to co-workers
  • Understand quality procedures and where they are located
  • Ability to build control valves and sub-assemblies correctly using Bills of Material and Work Instructions
  • Ability to learn the processes that work orders proceed through an assembly line
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior assembly experience, knowledge of basic design, electrical principles and basic machining preferred
  • Must be able to communicate with other assembly personnel
  • Demonstrating effort to developing a team relationship
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Stand for 8 to 12 hours. Walk, bend, and perform basic motor skills
  • Lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Follow ergonomically correct postures for bending, lifting, pushing and pulling
Shift: 1st shift, 6am-2pm2nd shift 2pm-10pm, Overtime is required
Pay: $15/hour
