Account Manager/Sales - Base PLUS Commission!

Engauge Workforce Solutions (EWS) is seeking a results-oriented sales and account management leader (Business Consultant) to secure and scale new corporate clients in the manufacturing and distribution sectors with staffing needs in entry-level and semi-skilled positions as well as a smaller volume of skilled positions. Common positions we staff include: Machine Operation, Pick/Pack, Assembly, Material Handling, Forklift Operation, Quality, Maintenance, etc. These positions can be Temporary, Temporary-to-Permanent, or Direct Hire. This sales team member will obtain new clients through existing relationships and industry connections, networking, cold calls, phone calls, personal visits (information drops/sales presentations), emails, and client relationship-building through a consultative, value-oriented sales approach. They will also be responsible for working closely with our recruiters and client on-site teams to ensure new accounts scale in accordance with growth objectives


COMPENSATION: Compensation for this role includes a base salary plus an expected $30,000 - $60,000 in annual commissions and bonus (based on performance relative to sales targets). The sky is the limit - you can make as much money as you deliver in sales!


GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

  • Identify, pursue, close, scale and manage new business
  • Increase company revenue by delivering on annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals and metrics
  • Clearly and convincingly articulate EWS’s offerings and value proposition to prospects, overcome initial resistance and identify paths to close sales opportunities
  • Once a sale is “closed,” the real work begins: you will work closely with our recruiters and client on-site teams to make sure we successfully fill job orders and grow the account
  • Perform job duties in a disciplined, organized and structured manner and contribute to weekly commercial team readouts
  • Demonstrate a proactive “self-starter” attitude with an ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales support documents and collateral


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify companies that meet the Engauge target profile 
  • Research and initiate contact with potential clients to generate and qualify leads
  • Identify weakness(es) of current supplier(s) and determine what Engauge benefits have best chance of landing opportunity
  • Identify decision-maker(s) at each prospective client and build relationships with all key stakeholders through a consultative and value-added sales approach
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to understand staffing needs and recommend temporary, temporary-to-permanent and direct hire staffing solutions
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects from lead qualification to obtaining a signed contract
  • Secure approved worker’s compensation code(s), credit references, W-9, client agreement and client protocol requirements before first sale is made
  • Work collaboratively with recruiters and client on-site teams to ensure job orders are filled in a timely manner and EWS is meeting all client expectations
  • Have “tough” conversations with clients if their job criteria is unrealistic (e.g., pay is too low, protocol is too stringent)
  • Consistently enter prospect data and sales activities into applicant tracking system (ATS)  
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Participate in a variety of community-oriented organizations to provide additional networking and referral opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing personal development by keeping informed of new products, services and other significant industry information and trends


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years outside sales experience 
  • Experience working in the manufacturing or distribution sectors is strongly preferred
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office programs
