Payroll and Purchasing Administrator

Engauge Workforce Solutions (EWS) is seeking a results-oriented Customer Care Team/Purchasing representative to work with our Back Office/Payroll team. In addition, this individual would be responsible for ordering office/manufacturing supplies and organizing services needed at our local and remote offices. This Customer Care Team/Purchasing representative will work with an ATS and Back Office Payroll system to not only process but audit payroll practices. They will also be responsible for working closely with Internal and External customers with regard to the coordination of goods and services, inventory, and special projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the maintenance, preparation, and reconciliation of records and reports related to payroll
  • Facilitate conversations with Associates to reconcile a payroll discrepancy
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including I9, W4 and Pay Method
  • Timesheet review manual/time clocks
  • Facilitate Vendor Management Systems and other 3rd party vendors
  • Review and Evaluate salaries/pay and bill rates
  • Set up deductions such as child support and garnishments
  • Review and maintain Health benefits changes
  • Order items for Staffing offices to include but limited to office supplies, etc.
  • Organize company lunches, onsite events, and travel when necessary
  • PO procurement for items needed for onsite Manufacturing facility


EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of Payroll experience 
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Proficient skills in Excel, including v-lookups and creating pivot tables 
  • Associate's Degree Required, Bachelor's in related field preferred
  • Experience working in the staffing, manufacturing, or distribution sectors is strongly preferred
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office programs and other technical abilities
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
