As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in day-to-day inspection activities, documenting quality issues, and presenting data in a statistical format. This role requires a keen ability to interpret Engineering Blueprints, as accuracy in inspecting our products is essential. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position involves a breakdown of activities including part inspection, assembly inspection, and data processing and analysis.
Openings on 1st and 2nd shift: Starting pay $18-20/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and document quality issues for parts and assemblies.
- Transform collected data into reports used for training and process improvement strategies.
- Engage in various tasks, such as discussions with engineers, vendor communication, SOP updates, and addressing anomalies or issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in weld and paint inspection.
- Strong ability to follow directions and execute tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for report writing and data analysis.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
- Proficient in blueprint reading.
- Ability to use a tape measure effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience with Pareto Charts preferred.
- Background in quality assurance is advantageous.
- Engineering Technician experience is highly beneficial.
