Customer Service Representative Job Description

Role Summary
 
The CSR plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for clients and visitors while supporting recruitment efforts. This dynamic position involves a combination of front office responsibilities and entry-level recruitment tasks. The individual is responsible for maintaining a welcoming and organized front office environment, managing incoming calls, and providing administrative support. Simultaneously, they assist the recruitment team in screening potential candidates and making initial placement recommendations, thus contributing to and facilitating the overall hiring process. 

This is a first shift, in office position with an hourly pay range from $18-20 per hour. 
 
Goals, Objectives AND Key Requirements
 
  • Exceptional Front Office Service Delivery:
    • Create a positive and professional first impression for clients and visitors.
    • Able to communicate in both English and Spanish. 
    • Efficiently manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
    • Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
    • Provide clear and concise communication in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
    • Assist in scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews and appointments.
 
  • Recruitment Support:
    • Collaborate with recruiters to understand client requirements and job specifications.
    • Conduct initial screening of candidates through completion of applicant and screening materials and make recommendations for recruiter interviews or schedule follow ups
    • Clear web applicant queues and make follow up recommendations
    • Able to make placement and nomination recommendations
    • Analyze walk in traffic trends and make continuous improvement recommendations
    • Participate in recruiting meetings and huddles and report on top funnel candidate information, observations and trends
    • Maintain accurate and up to date candidate information in databases
 
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Assist candidates with completing required onboarding documentation
    • Contribute to overall candidate satisfaction by ensuring a welcoming and professional front office experience and facilitating a supportive recruitment process
       
  • Administrative Support:
    • Handle general inquiries and provide administrative support to various departments.
    • Manage office supplies and place orders as needed.
    • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries promptly.

  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
    • Support colleagues in various tasks as needed.
