Position Overview:
A leading manufacturer of disposable applicators for dental, medical, and industrial use, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift at our facility in Grafton, WI. Pay: $65,000
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to injection molding machines, packaging equipment, and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct equipment adjustments, repairs, and replacements as needed to maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance-related concerns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Complete maintenance documentation, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory records, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall productivity.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and identify root causes of issues effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance software or systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
