Are you seeking a 1st Shift Material Handling opportunity in Whitewater, WI? Our client is looking to add to their GREAT team!
In this role, you would be responsible for executing various material handling, picking, packaging, shipping, inventory control functions associated with the flow and control of material throughout the plant. You will also unload/load trucks as needed, put away, pull, transfer, deliver, and retrieve materials throughout the plant.
- Hours 7AM-3PM M-F we can be a little flexible on the timing if needed (0 to Minimal OT, but is offered at times of vacations or if extra work is needed)
- Willing to drive a forklift – stand up and sit down
- Prefer forklift certified but does not need to be forklift certified currently. We can train internally on learning to drive forklift
- Proficiency with speaking, reading, and writing English. Will need to be able to send messages in Microsoft Teams & potential emails
- Ok if its not fluent, just need to be able to understand
- Be able to follow a work instruction and process shipments through company's ERP system
- Understand how to count inventory, transfer, and pick from FIFO order
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Be able to lift and move parts with pallet jack
- Drivers license required to drive company box truck to secondary plant once permanently hired.
Starting pay: $17/hour with room to grow.
