Job Title: Panel Electrician

Job Description:
Paper Machinery Corporation is currently seeking a skilled Panel Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in panel building and be proficient with 480/24 volt systems. This position requires the ability to interpret schematics, perform control wiring, and possess a strong attention to detail. The Panel Electrician will be responsible for building panels according to specifications, conducting point-to-point wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems as necessary. Additionally, the candidate must be organized, able to meet deadlines, and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Build panels according to schematics and specifications
- Perform control wiring for 480/24 volt systems
- Conduct point-to-point wiring with precision and accuracy
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a panel builder or electrician
- Proficiency with 480/24 volt systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Strong understanding of control wiring principles
- Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Owns tools necessary for the job
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in electrical wiring or related field
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with PLC programming
- Experience with industrial machinery
