Maintenance Technician ($30.75-36.75/hr)

Location: Lake Orion, MI

Shifts: 2nd (2 PM - 10:30 PM; M-F)

Enguage is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance support to the cell/area to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.

We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician has responsibilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical controls, PLC troubleshooting, 480v 3 phase motors, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes. This person will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years in industrial manufacturing
  • PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs, and changeouts of programs
  • Experience with Factory Talk or similar HMI software
  • Photo eyes, sensors, limit switches, and solenoids
  • Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls)
  • Mechanical Systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes)
  • Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  • High and Low Voltage
  • Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

Nice to Have:

  • PLC Programming
  • Ability to pull wire and bend conduit
  • Welding

Qualifications:

2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems. Experience in operating various machining equipment.
