Maintenance Tech - night shift - $36+
Bring your Maintenance skills to our client in Sussex!  They are hiring for Maintenance Technicians on their Night shift.
shift schedule is 6am - 6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications
  • Reading blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings
  • Using measuring instruments, calipers, multimeter, etc
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years experience as a mechanical/electrical electrician
  • Proven problem solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery
  • Some experience in forklift operations
  • Ability to use a multi-meter
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently

Responsibilities
  • As a Maintenance Technician II you will be responsible for performing general preventative and predictive maintenance to food manufacturing machines that include setting up, adjusting and repairing all types of equipment in order to consistently meet our standards for safety and quality
  • Responding to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators on a variety of equipment
  • Performing assigned maintenance tasks as well as machine breakdown tasks to ensure continuous production
  • Attending and participating in crew transition meetings, as well as daily transition meetings with other Maintenance Technicians
  • Reworking and rebuilding mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on 480 volt 3 phase system to include blown fuses, repairing and rewiring motors, under qualified supervision
  • Set up and operate all types of production equipment and machine tools such as, but not limited to, lathes, mills, welder, make or rework required machine parts
  • Perform basic PLC troubleshooting
