Job Description:
A leading beverage manufacturing company in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Filler Operator for the 2nd shift. As a Filler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining filling equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality juice products.
Pay: $17.30/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Filling Equipment: Operate automatic or semi-automatic filling machines to fill containers with juice products according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor the filling process to ensure proper filling levels, seal integrity, and product quality. Perform quality checks at regular intervals and make adjustments as necessary.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on filling equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to maintenance staff for prompt resolution.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Maintain a steady pace of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. Follow proper handling procedures for chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Documentation: Complete production and quality control documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Record production data, including batch numbers, fill volumes, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including machine operators, packers, and supervisors, to achieve production goals and targets. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
