One of our clients in Sussex is hiring a second-shift quality inspector.
Shift Time - 2:30 pm to 12 am
Pay - $18.50 /hr
Job Function -
- Document and communicate any product defects
- Assist the production team in verifying parts as good for use, repair, or scrap
- Understanding quality standards and making sure production meets those standards
- Perform destructive tests to validate welds
- Ultrasonic tests on incoming raw materials to validate received materials
- Ability to help establish the first line of defense for immediate containment activities
- Ability to identify and differentiate between defect types, standards, and specifications
- Perform detailed record-keeping, audits, and inspection reports
- Ability to apply critical thinking skillset to engage and troubleshoot new and existing quality issues
- Ability to determine the severity of a defect and the required response
- Experience in a manufacturing quality assurance environment
Requirements
- Experience with quality systems in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Ability to operate personal computing hardware and standard software program
