Working Lead
Our Butler, WI client is seeking a passionate individual with a strong work ethic and leadership skills to join an industry-leading manufacturer as an onsite Working Lead! The ideal individual will have previous leadership experience – they will teach you the rest!
The Working Lead is responsible for performing equipment set-ups and monitoring employees’ operating activities, along with helping train new employees and monitoring the performance of the department (scrap, quality, efficiency).
  • Assign work to production personnel to support the production schedule and priorities
  • Responsible for safety, quality and productivity KPIs
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including scheduled cleaning with documentation
  • Follow established ISO and production procedures and ensure that all production employees are properly trained and following the procedures. Recommend changes to the procedures that will improve quality and/or productivity
  • Insert molds and perform established procedures to set up equipment for processing
  • Operate equipment to ensure the production of products to specifications and quality
  • Resolve equipment malfunctions and perform general maintenance as required
  • Train new employees and monitor the activities of all department employees to ensure the correct and efficient use of equipment to obtain a quality product
  • Notify management of difficult and unusual problems related to scrap, staffing, production, and department activities 
  • Perform any operations in the department as required to meet production requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to Supervision, Engineering and Quality personnel
  • Must use shop mathematics and follow verbal & written instructions
  • Move and inset molds when necessary up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to train and monitor personnel is required
SHIFT: 2nd, 2:30pm-11:00pm
PAY: $17-20, depending on experience
