The Panel Mold Operator is responsible for successful set up and operation of compression molding machines to mold our products according to plan and quality specifications.
Set up includes:
"Measurement and application of resin and mat
"Ensuring the product is properly measured and assembled before resin and mat application
"The thermostat is correctly set; buttons to activate machine to compress compounds between dies to form and cure specified products
"Product is safely transferred to mold machine
After each mold cycle the mold is automatically removed from the press and loaded onto a cart. A hand-maneuvered lift is used to remove the lid and the molded panel. The Panel Mold Operator will use tools to ensure edged are clean and the molded panel is placed onto a pallet.
"This is a physical job, so in addition to being comfortable working on your feet for an entire shift, candidates should be comfortable bending, twisting, crouching and squatting as well as being able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and many times throughout a shift.
"Set up and operation of compression molding machine
"Reading and interpreting blueprints/designs
"Operating machine, including adjusting temperature and pressure to ensure each mold is successful
"Always follow and adhere to safety procedures.
"Careful attention to detail
"Ability to take direction from a supervisor, work as part of a team, but can also take individual initiative as needed.

3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:00 am - PAID BREAKS
Pay: $18/hour to start
